The MagSafe power adapter has had a lot of problems with cable strain over the years, especially near the transformer end. Luckily, there’s an easy cable-wrapping tip that will increase the lifespan of the adapter.

Before wrapping the cable around the two plastic prongs, give the cable a little bit of slack. See the photo below.
