Make a Text List of Folder Contents

  1. From the Finder menu, select Go > Applications
    Go
  2. Open the TextEdit application
    Apps
  3. Make sure the text file is plain text, not rich text.

  4. Select all the contents in the desired folder.

  5. Drag and drop the contents onto the text file

That’s it! You now have a text list of the folder’s contents.
