Apple’s “Vintage and Obsolete Products” Repair Policy

apple vintage logo

The following copy is taken directly from Apple’s website:

Owners of iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac products may obtain service and parts from Apple or Apple service providers for 5 years after the product is no longer manufactured—or longer where required by law. Apple has discontinued support for certain technologically obsolete and vintage products.

I’m actually typing this post on a laptop that Apple would consider to be vintage. 5 years—and the Apple Store will no longer help with your device. This is obviously a not-so-subtle ploy to increase sales, unfortunately at the expense of the customer.

Luckily for you, we are more than happy to help with any device, regardless of the product date. Contact us today!
